Project Overview

Carved from the historic Kleinpeter farm on Perkins Road, The Settlement at Willow Grove is Baton Rouge’s first and foremost Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND). Designed by America’s leading traditional neighborhood land planner, Steven Oubre, and developed by Richard Carmouche, the 112-acre neighborhood is thoughtfully designed for homes, work places, retail businesses and community life to coexist in harmony.

Central to that concept is the extensive incorporation of green spaces and tree-lined walkways opening to 10 beautifully designed parks featuring landscaped gardens, fountains and benches.

Located in the heart of Baton Rouge on Perkins Road between Bluebonnet and Siegen Lane, Willow Grove offers pedestrian access to The Dunham School, a college preparatory school with grades pre-K-12. It is also located within five minutes of major employment centers, the Mall of Louisiana, large grocery stores, pharmacies, entertainment centers and hospitals.
