With the philosophy that good living comes from a unique blend of quality housing and natural scenic view, Carmouche Construction Company has been a premier builder of high-end houses and exclusive developments in Baton Rouge for over thirty years. Founder Richard Carmouche is a LSU graduate and holds both residential and commercial contractor licenses. He has cultivated his unique vision of natural living with attention to detail with residential developments such as Woodgate Crossing, The Province at Moss, Jefferson Highlands, Lakeshore Gardens, LaSalle Parc, Jefferson Place 5th Filing, and Oaks on the Bluff and commercial developments including The Village at Willow Grove, The Grove, One Oak Square and Siegen Highlands.

Carmouche Construction has recently been focused on three south Baton Rouge projects. The Settlement at Willow Grove is a stunning residential development with gorgeous homes and tranquil common areas. The cornerstone to The Settlement is The Village at Willow Grove featuring everything from restaurants and shops to condominiums and office space. The Grove is a large mixed-use development off I-10 behind the Mall of Louisiana that is already home to several high-end apartments, an assisted living facility, and local business. Construction of Ochsner Medical Center in The Grove is currently underway and will be a huge economic boost.

Staying true to his traditional values, Richard has kept his company family owned and operated by featuring the talents of his wife, Realtor, Cathy Carmouche, and their two children, Project Manager Michael Carmouche and Realtor, Catherine Carmouche. Together with Office Manager, Jan Hodges, they have continued to help the community grow with a thoughtful nod to the past while maintaining the natural beauty of the Baton Rouge landscape.

Richard Carmouche continues to be a leader in the Baton Rouge community, serving on several committees, is a past board member of the Baton Rouge Growth Coalition, and is a member of the Capital Region Builders Association.
